Q.

Hello doctor, My daughter is one year old. She keeps on blabbering.. she understands excellently.. but she doesn't say Amma, appa.. she says it while blabbering different sounds... I'm afraid whether she is late in speaking.. since when she was 6-7.. i sit with her & talk saying Amma, appa.. but until now there is no improvement.. should she be given speech therapy.. ?? if so how to do it.. help me out plz

A. it will take time for the baby to improve the vocabulary take the help of a speech therapist bfor further advice in this regard it is advisable to consult your doctor for physical examination and if there is need to do investigations also then only proper treatment can be given

A. Hello dear parent! Normal finding in babies. Communicate more effectively with your child. Encourage your child to express and share. Read books like Babyhug story books to help in encouraging words and speech
