hello doctor, my daughter is not gaining weight. kindly suggest me some medicine or food for weight gain

A. it is not required to give any medicine to increase weight in such small babies. they will gain weight gradually. if you are breastfeeding please continue to do so frequently. you can give mashed egg yolk..about half a tbsp. you can give 1 tbsp banana 2-3 times a week yogurt about tbsp. mashed potato about 1 tbsp 2-3 times a week. you can give some ghee also...about half tbsp...but in two servings. ...not all at once. try any new food in small quantities and gradually increase. preferably give in morning time.
