Hello Doctor. my daughter is 50 days old. she is going for her vaccination tomorrow. i bought the medicine for her today named meftagesic ds paracetamol and mefenamic acid suspension. please suggest if the medicine is fine for a 50 days old kid. also, please suggest the dosage. Can we give this medicine before vaccination as well and how many drops can be given.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. you can give calpol drops 0.5 ml for fever and can repeat after every 6 hours if required q,regarding this further you can dicuss with the doctor if any more queries or doubts are there to be cleared . He will give you all the explanation and advise as needed.

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 6 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent, you should never give over the counter medicine to such young babies until it has been prescribed by your doctor. I would suggest you to consult with your paediatric and then only go ahead with this medicine.
