Hello Doctor My daughter is 4 years and 8 month old she have cough problems from 1 month approximately we give her many cough syrups and teblets for cough by doctor consultation and others. syrup and teblet give temporary relief but after two days stop medicine she have continuous coughing please give some suggestions

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. recurring and non resolving cough and cold is commonly due to allergy and less likely due to infection. can be due to either allergy or infection or both. along with cough and coldd medicine nebulization will be required and your doctor will guide you regarding this. take a follow up with your doctor if the coughf and cold is not improving with 3 days of medication . you can give home remedies like to see honey ginger and turmeric with milk.
