Q.

Hello Doctor my daughter is 23 days old whenever she is awake she uses to drink more milk like 1 hour continuously means 2-3 minutes gap in between but still she is crying for milk means do I have low milk and she is urinating more than 8 times in a day, if baby continuously sucking means did they will get milk or it will be empty ?

A. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also. the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding. meet the doctor for weight assessment.d if the above criteria is achieved then the child is having adequate milk intake. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the sleepingx pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
