Hello doctor, my daughter is 2.5 yrs old. Last two days she had fever, and today she has mouth ulcer inside her lower lip because of which she is not able to eat properly. plz suggest me some good diet and also medicine or any home remedy for that.

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a dr proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
