Hello doctor, my daughter is 1 year 7 months old. She is having mild fever and cold, she is not accepting any medicines. Please suggest something to make her feel better.

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid prepabgrations. cold sponging of the whole body witvh tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
