hello doctor my daughter is 1 n half year old. she cries a lot every night with her eyes closed don't know the reason why. will u help me please

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. there are number of reasons of excessive crying in children because it can be either due to some type of colic pain or digestion problem or due to some type of nasal blockage abdominal pain or any body pain so if it is not improving meet your doctor and for pain you can give one dosage of paracetamol.
if it appears to be colic pain you can give anti colic medicine and if it is due to nasal blockage you can give nasal saline drops.
many times changing the environment of the child helps as well as diverting the child helps
you have to treat according to the cause

PallaviMom of a 7 yr 9 m old girl3 years agoA. hello...that happens to many kids that they cry in night ...most common reason is either bad dream or sometimes bad tummy ach...make sure you give light food at night like a khichdi with ghee etc..n whenever this just calm the baby with embracing the baby...its just a phase
