Q.

hello doctor, my daughter had constipation, so her pediatrician suggested to give duphalac 10 ml(1-0-1) till the stool flow comes to normal, then asked to continue 10 ml only for the night time for one month. we have given yesterday evening and this morning, her stool flow came to normal, do we need to continue the medication since we are afraid if it may cause diarrhea. kindly suggest.

A. you have to continue this medicine and according to the consistency of the school you can decrease or increase the dosage of the medicine also but it has to be continued
