Q.

hello doctor my daughter 5 month her leg is shaking for secs and getting stopped automatically or I hold the leg it is stopping why it is happening. when she was three month I that time i found after that now she was 5 again it is happening wat would the reason.

A. shivering in newborn can be due to startle reflex and less likely due to calcium deeficiency. kindly continue to give breastfeeding to the child and take a video of the shivering and meet your doctor who will tell you whether it is normal startle reflex or it is due to hypocalcemia.
