hello doctor, my daughter 2yr6m old is not talking yet and not understanding our language. sometimes she is close her ears and shouting. she is fear to walk on the road. can you please give the suggestion what should we do

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Regarding Speech Baby usually start mono syllable by 6 to 7 months of age then by syllable words come by 9 to 10 months of age
then by 12 to 14 months of age baby say two to three words followed by jargon speech at 15-16 months .
child can start saying simple sentences by two years of age .
just make the child comfortable and do more interaction with the child so that he can learn to speak sentences properly.
if the speech does not comes even by three years of age you need to cgonsult your doctor for a procper assessment of the child .

Sowmya MMom of 4 children3 years agoA. hello actually if your baby is doing again and again this kind of things I would like to suggest you to please try consulting your doctor and try to take some kind of therapy and also once the school starts like a play home with the more of interaction and the things around them might change
