Hello doctor, My child is purely breastfeed for past 1 month..bt she increase only 500 gram weight..her birth weight is 3kg after 3 and half month now she is 5.05 kg..is it normal??

Nandita BaranwalMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Hi, Weight gain of your baby is good dear. Generally babies get their weight thrice by 1 year and twice by 6 month of their birth weight. Continue breastfeeding till 6 month exclusively and don't forget to burp after every feed. Start giving semi solid and solid food once baby completes 6 month
