A. its ok fruits can be given liberally but not much sweets in proportion sweets u can offer along with all food groups. . . After 1 year of age you can start giving the child everything with you prepare for your family at home . But the meals you are giving should be easy to digest less oily and less spicy for him . Keep giving some natural probiotics like curd buttermilk or yogurt every day for a better digestion. The diet should be balanced one. Should incorporate seasonal fruits and vegetables that provide micronutrients and fibre. Proteins are the building blocks of the body, so meals should be proportionate. Lean meat fish eggs can also be introduced gradually. Nuts to be given, soaked in water beforehand.
