Q.

Hello doctor, my child is 3 years old and his weight is 13.5 kg. He takes adequate diet which includes 3 proper meals, 2 fruits and 2 times milk. He passes stool 2-3 times a day. sometimes even 4 times. He takes his meals only while watching rhymes on tv. Please advise regarding the frequent passing of stool and his weight.

A. thats ok .you see.See in such cases the child needs specialist care always. So try to follow with the same doctor and do not get anxious with s variety of opinion. Focus on treatment ok.See when baby has any new complain then better avoid any self medication. Show to a doctor for right and timely diagnosis and treatment. Thays a safe procedure.

A. Hi 3 to 4 times motion in a day is considered completely normal till the time it is not loose motion and till the time your child is not doing potty immediately after eating food or milk so don’t worry about that and if you are giving screen time to the child that’s not very good because this way in the future it is going to be very tough for you to cope up with the situations so try to feed your child without TV so that your child knows that okay I just have to quickly finish the meal then I can watch the TV so try to develop that habit rather than developing habit of TV and food together because that we could take a lot of time to finish tell me because they believe as long as we take will get to watch television for that long a time
