Hello doctor my baby was 2 months 26 days old now. Second vaccine done for him but it is become swelling.we put ice cubes also but still not cure. please find the attachment n suggest what need to be done for this.

Post vaccination swelling may be a common thing specially after DPT vaccine which may be painful for two or three days and the swelling may remain even up to month so if it is not causing any pain or other symptoms nothinvhg to worry. Swelling can be reduced by giving ice fomentation locally ahnd paracetamol can be given for fever or pain. Thrombophobe ointment can be applied in acute pain and swelling .

shilpi BhandariMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello mom pains swelling and fever is quite normal after the favour and it will get settle within 2 days so do not worry if child is having problem this then you can apply ointment like thromophob for by asking your doctor you can also apply warm ghee on it
