Q.

Hello Doctor, my baby's legs are in little bend position. I consult my pediatrician the last week. I recommended for calcium, vitaman d and alkaline phosphatase. Calcium, vitamin d are in appropriate range, alkaline phosphatase is 308 IU/L. Doctor said everything is normal. can you help me on this. I have vitamin deficiency when I was expecting the baby. but my doctor prescribed vitamin d from the first month of pregnancy. and my baby is 6 months old now.

A. continue with calcium n vit d drops. Some chubby babies legs also look like bowed leg.. Actual Bowed legs in babies normally last for anywhere between 0 to 2 years... after the baby begins to walk, usually disappearing by the time of three years.. you can consult your paedritician or orthopedic once.
