Q.

Hello doctor my baby os 18 month old now he isn’t pointing that much if needs anything toy or something or he wants to go out he grabs my finger and drags me out and speaking small words like da ba de like that not saying mama also what should i do ?

A. if your child is able to understand and follow all the commands given and is able to you hear what you are saying with proper eye contact then do not worry much about the language skills of the child because speech will gradually come. d try to avoid tv mobile laptop like screen time and spend more time with the child talking with the child as well as if more people are available to talk with the child and this will also improve the social and language milestones of the child. f

A. But you child understands everything which is brilliant so it is not a matter of time the more you communicate with your child a better the speech is going to be yet if you feel they would be delay so you can get it checked with your doctor they’re going to clear the picture for you if any therapies required and advise you accordingly
