#AskTheExpert Hello doctor, my baby now 56 days old. Can I use talc free powder for face, neck & body on every day? What is difference b/w ordinary & talc free powder?

I have been using Johnson's baby talc for my baby and it works good for him. talc free baby powder contains corn starch or other absorbent materials. talc or talc free, both powders will be harmful If u don't use it the proper way. the fine particles should not be inhaled by the baby, lest it would block the nasal passage and chest of baby. u should take the powder in your palms and rub it on the baby's skin with a puff. this ways u will avoid suspended particles in the air.

SantoMom of a 8 yr 7 m old girl7 years agoA. There are many good brands available in the market. Just see what suits and go for it. Also you can check the reviews for the particular product you wish to use. That would help. Try sebamed it's pretty good
