Hello Doctor, My baby is poops with mucus from 2 days and she is passing poop after feed ,is it something to worry and shes 8month now.

A. Hello, your baby girl is 8 months old and she is having a loose motions with amoebiasis so give her syrup cefixime 50 mg twice a day and syrup metrogyl 3 ml three times a day and ORS

A. many times when you add food to the diet of the child This can happen but if the child is not having any other complaints and weight gain and activity of the child is proper no need to worry but if you feel that the child is uncomfortable meet your doctor to rule out gastroenteritis

A. hi mucus in stool is caused by cough ,food reaction or infection. so if a child is taking feeds well and he or she sleeps well ,gains enough weight then no need to worry. but if a child is not gaining enough weight,he or she feel irritability , discomfort like colic , indigestion etc ,you should consult your pediatrician.
