Q.

Hello doctor my baby is one month old I am feeding him but since from tomorrow I having pain in my nipples due to crack nipple.i am applying ointment called nipcare...is it ok to gv him lectogen...till my nipples heal.. please suggest.

A. Hi, Yes you can. If breastfeed is not sufficient for the baby Or you are not able to feed because of any reason. You can start giving formula milk to the baby. Formula milk is the alternative of breastfeed. There are many good brands like nan, lactogen, similac etc. Consult your pediatrician to know which formula milk suits your baby and fulfills the requirements.
