Hello Doctor, My baby is holding a breath for like 5-6 seconds and it seems like not right. When i pat her back she starts taking breath. It happened with me two times. Is this normal or something serious?

A. Breathe holding spells are very common with kids they actually sometimes turn blue also but your child is not becoming unconscious it is still alright so continue with what you are doing and in case of doubt once you should visit your doctor
