hello doctor,my baby is 8months old suffering from fever since 1day please suggest syrup

A. I'm using fepanil drops but for every 7 to 8hrs body temperature is increasing. since two days early morning it's 101.4 day time it's 100

A. You have to give paracetamol according to the weight and according to the power of paracetamol medicine you are having. It can be repeated maximum 4 times per day. Armpit temperature of hundred or more is considered as fever Weather higher medicines like ibugesic for meftal p is required or not will be told by the doctor. Keep the child in cool environment and avoid using woolen clothes when the child is having fever Important t to avoid them if possible. Do body sponge tto decrease the body temperature and give plenty of fluids and water to drink to prevent dehydration.
