Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. It is very normal for small children that sometimes they will not pass stool for 10 days also and sometimes they will pass stool more than 7 to 8 times per day.
If the consistency of the stool is Semi solid to semi liquid do not worry about the frequency of the stool.
No medicinees needs to be given in such a case but you have to meet the doctor only if the stool consistency is hard.
It is advisable to ggive only milk to the child and nothing else before completion of 6 months of age
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy2 years agoA. It's quite common for your baby to become constipated when they start having first infant formula (which is harder to digest than breast milk) or eating processed foods. This is because their body is learning how to cope with digesting new things.
