hello doctor my baby is 7 th month, difficult to pass stools it's a very hard stool, he tryto defficate but can't able to pass

A. Constipation in Babies less than 6 months is very common and more in formula fed babies. you can give bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper gj dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age

A. earlier my baby was facing the same issue, his paediatrician suggested him a stool softener for a week nd if required use glycerin suppositories only in case of SOS. water intake should be increased nd give him more dietary foods that is easy to digest. i gave him an apple a day with liquidish consistency nd pear ( steamed and remaing wqter used to make it more pureed form), thy contains natural sugar that make their stool soft nd easy to pass, plus give moong daal water .. do take cre

A. Hello mom Constipation is very common in babies in such case you should add more fibre food in babies regular diet plan and start giving papaya pineapple regularly. You should also give 1 teaspoon of honey with warm water once in a day it will help in maintaining babies digestion issues
