hello doctor, my baby is 3 months old. I am doing breastfeeding to my baby . I am having periods now..does it effect breastfeeding. is it common to having periods if doing breastfeeding.as m aware while breastfeeding. periods will not happen.

Yes periods can happen even if u are breastfeeding ur baby.
But it will not effect your breast milk supply. so no need to worry.
But there can be irregularity of periods after delivery due to hormonal changes.
once u stop breastfeeding the periods will become normal and regular
