Q.

hello doctor,my baby is 3 month old now, my breast milk is not sufficient so I am feeding formula milk to her but she is not willing to have formula and not even drinking 500ml in 24hrs.can I dilute the milk for her easy digestion.i am using aptamil formula for her.according to the instructions given we have to mix 30ml of water per 1scoop but can I mix in 35ml of water and feed her.is it ok to do so or will it effect her growth.

A. hi, ideally good to offer formula made in standard ratio with water.. as excess of water.. could also result in weight loss and increased bilirubin levels. keep trying.. try yo feed on calm dark room without any distraction.

A. hello if the b! is not sufficient then infant formula milk is the option and try giving it frequently using an attractive bpa free bottle like Babyhug which can help baby to accept the milk and any concern then 8t is better to check with your doctor and your doctor will be able to guide you better on examination of the same
