Hello doctor my baby is 2 months 15 days old. He has a lot of cough. I am giving kufril and swich medicine but the cough is not coming out what to do???

A. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful . cough needs to be treated wifth anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives mdsedicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough. if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

A. U Can I ask your doctor and you should start nebulising the child because nebulisation is really going to be or not helpful in releasing down the congestion in the chest and throat of your child so that’s one of the best options to get rid of it
