Q.

Hello doctor, my baby is 11month old she is having problem of hard potty and she is not taking her food properly I give her a kheer of flour/suji for breakfast then after one small glass of milk and afternoon vegitable khichdi. after sleep I have given fruit juice or milkshake after she is having half small glass milk then in dinner I gave her vegetables dalia which I have cooked in ghee after that after small glass of milk please suggest what step we can talk for her soft potty

A. Constipation is a chronic problem seen in children and most important cause is diet modification so firstly it should be taken care of. give good fibre diet with plenty of liquids and avoidance of food which can aggravate constipcation like Banana excess of milk and maida containing food. medications like lactulose PEG or glycerine suppository should be second option
