Q.

Hello doctor My baby is 1 year 22 days old.. He has 4 teeth on his upper jaw.. And only 3 teeth on his lower jaw. In my knowledge, i have read that on lower jaw two of the teeth arrives together, but for my baby only one teeth has arrived, i.e; on lower jaw he has only 3 teeth not eating food , not having milk, became very much cranky, What's the reason behind this does taking pacifier all the time, teeth growth's get stopped? or is there any some other reason

A. Hi yes usually milk teeth erupts in pair..but there can be change in sequence.. you can gently massage the gum pad area in lower jaw near the erupted teeth to facilitate the eruption process of unerupted milk teeth
