hello doctor my baby is 1 nd half month completed his umbilical cord area is infected..last night there is minor blood.. I consulted to a doctor...he give my baby a vitamin k injection and mupirocin ointment ip mupidale cream to apply.. is it right treatment?...I'm worried because it's a long time taking for cure of infected area

always wash your hands before touching your child..
change baby clothing if seems dirty.
maintain overall hygiene
give only breastmilk till completion of six months

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. Hi it's good and safe to show your kid to your doctor and follow their advise. That would be the best and safest option for your baby. As doctors know exactly our baby body condition and can treat it right and immediately.
