my daughter is 16 days old n her umbilical cord has fallen off when she was 7 days old. today morning I have observed that there is clotted blood in her umbilical cord, is it normal??

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi mom Yes this is normal. so no need to worry. U can apply neosporin powder on the naval. it will be fine. if there is pain or baby is feeling discomfort after touching it, then u need to consult your doctor for the same.
