Q.

#Hello Doctor.. My baby is 05 and half months old and she has taken 02 dosage of PCV vaccine . As PCV was not given by government earlier therefore we had to buy from private and give. However now government has started giving PCV also along with other vaccine so can I take 03 dose of PCV for my baby through government or should I still have to buy and give

A. Thank you Doctor. My child PCV brand is Synoflorix, is it necessary that we should give the same brand vaccine in 03rd dose or can I take it from government because I m not aware which brand PCV vaccine government is giving. Is there an issue when we take a different brand vaccine

A. yes it cab be taken 3 doses of vaccine . Vaccination should be done now as most of Vaccination schedule has been disturbed during this covid period specially under 1 yr of vaccines should be completed . Also go for yearly influenza vaccine as per covid reccomendation .
