Q.

Hello Doctor, My baby girl is 8 months and 16 days old and her weight is 6.4 kgs. Her birth weight was 3 kgs. What should I give her to increase her weight? Also from past 2 - 3 days she is having teething discomfort and she stopped having solids now only wants my milk. kindly suggest.

A. Hi during the teething phase, kids usually suffer from loss of appetite and there's insignificant weight gain.. don't worry as it's a temporary condition and will subside after the eruption of teeth.

A. hi desr mom..weight depends on birth weight..baby should ideally double birth weight by three to six months and triples birth weight by completion of one year...give home made weaning find.. xan add little ghee in bbays food. use Babyhug teether.. that will give comfort to babys swollen gums
