hello doctor my baby girl is 8 days old.. from the day she was born she dnt pass motion normally its yellow water with some feaces she is passing lots of gases and with gas some feaces beause of this she got rashes. am applying laods of silloderm.. n.buut of no use.. plz help

ExpertDr Priyanka KalraObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. this is ok. but check dehydration. see with babies not all will be as per text. each baby has her own pace of learning n milestone s ok. so don't stress unnecessary. see when there are skin lesions you cant comment online. best approach will be to show to to a near by doctor who can give opinion n treat.

Infants older than eight weeks often go 4 or 5 days without a dirty diaper, and it doesn't mean they are constipated. Breastfed babies, especially if they have not started solid foods, can easily go two weeks without a poopy diaper once they are 2-3 months old.
