hello Doctor my baby girl is 3 months (13 weeks), and her weight is 4.6 kg. her birth weight was 2.6. I'm exclusively breastfeeding her. please advise how to increase her weight.

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist2 years agoA. dear Mum, a weight gain of 2 kg in 3 months is a normal weight gain for baby.
for healthy weight gain, continue to exclusively breastfed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding, feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.
