Hello doctor , my baby breastfeeds very less only for 5 mins and only 3-4 times in a day , hence my supply is too low , is it going cause problem to me or baby in long term?

Vidya SMom of a 1 yr 3 m old girl1 Year agoA. Hello, if baby is well fed that is if he is getting sufficient milk then it should not be a problem. Like baby is sleeping well and gaining weight. If he has excessive cry and not gaining weight then alternatively you can start formula feeds.

Kritika SharmaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. It’s very normal at this age for their feedings to be shorter even if you’re able to have them nurse well. Using rocking or swaying your baby while nursing them might help to reduce the distractions.
