Hello doctor My Baby boy 2 years old. Sir ye test karwaye thei baby ke fever ne Kum ho raha.aap reports dekh ke bata sakte hai koi hal

A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other chiauses should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are usually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . Dorctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .
