hello doctor, my 5 years old son he gets itching near his anus in the night time i don't know how it is. shall I consult pediatrician or is it normal

Maam there could be two reasons either there is dryness or rash in that area because of hard motion regular motion otherwise it can be associated with worms in the tummy which is a very common thing and this is one of the biggest indication that can be associated with that so yes you should check with your doctor and you can give a deworming meditation to your time
