Q.

Hello doctor, my 3-year-old daughter has mild redness in her lower back area due to diapers I think. Please suggest treatment.

A. You can gently apply coconut oil on the rashes. Also frequently change the diapers for every 2-3 hours. If possible keep the area dry during morning hours. If not try to change the diapers. Try using mamaearths plant based diapers. They are good and effective.

A. I understand your concern and I like to suggest you to apply Mamaearth Dusting powder for babies... apply it before wearing diaper and use it every time to prevent rashes and redness...

A. for perianal/perigenital / diaper rash if it is less then you can go for simple coconut oil as well as any rash cream which is available for diaper rash like (rashfree / ezinapi / b4napi / zincal) but if it is not improving then at night time you can add t bact cream in the perianal azrea which will help in decreasing the rash. to preventx the diaper rash in the future kindly apply coconut oil before making the child wear the diaper
