Q.

Hello Doctor, My 3 months old baby suffering from cough, cold last 2 months. pediatrician suggested saline nasal spray and Ambrodil drops but no use. from yesterday,he suffering from cold,cough and fever. local doctor suggested Ascoril LS drops and Amoxycillin and potassium clavulanate oral suspension ip.and steam. can i use above-mentioned drops?dosage for 3 months old baby?

A. hello, my sonnwas suffering from the same...my doctor said he's suffering from flu bronchiolitis..so she prescribed us mucolite drops three times a day 6 drops..and nebulisation for three days two times a day using livolin...

A. give only if given by dr This can occurs due to weather changes and temperature variations or simple cold and rarely infection. kindly give nasal saline drops (nasoclear /nasivion s)every three hourly and since it is a salt water/saline water it does not have any side effects and can be given again and again for nasal blockage and respiratory cough. It will dissolve mucus in nose and throat. Try to prevent temperature variations around the child and you can also give indirect steam inhalation and if there is no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
