Millk she use to have twice a day only and Rice also she likes to have in the form of liquid. little bit rice with curry/rasam and little bit with curd. daily fruits like 1 apple and 1 banana OR 1apple and 1 orange OR 1Kiwi and some snaks like that.
Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. constipation is common problem in children in which diet modification is important like including high fibres in the diet for which you can give seasonal fruits like papaya, watermelon and seasonal vegetables will also help , can give daliya or oatsmeal also to your child which is rich in fibres and nutrients too.
giving excess of milk may also cause constipation, so you should limit its quantity.also avoid banana which may aggravate .lactulose or polyethylene glycol is of good help, sorbilene is also an alternative but you should give any medicine or suippository only when prescribed by your pediatrician.. medication is the secondary option.diet modification is the key.plenty of liquids are of great help too.
