Q.

Hello Doctor, my 11 months old daughter is not eating chapati/parantha and dal/rice but she likes snacks all the time. I am worried that she is not gaining weight and is that okay or not. how can i convince her to eat healthy foods. Is there any powder to give her or any tonic syrup to increase her apettite so that she may feel more hunger and eat more.

A. no tonic or medicine for that.. only your efforts will work. Offer a variety of tastes and texture so that baby gets used to it all. In between meals keep offering healthy snacks like fruit or vegetable sticks. prepared food should look good too....

A. you can try to add taste of that particular snack into the food . all baby like some particular taste. above all we have to make effort to develop their taste and eating habit.
