Hello Doctor Iam a breast feed mother..Iam suffering from slight typhoid and iam using zerodol ,Cefixime tablets..Can i feed my baby.. And my baby is having slight fever what should i do further..How much amount of paracetamol should i give to my 6months baby please suggest doctor..

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. yes, you can feed your baby, cefixime is advisable for feeding moms. keep temperature checking 6 hourly..
Fevers higher than 100 F. should be attended to immediately.
Dress your child lightly. Use a sheet instead of a blanket to cover her in bed.
Breastfeed or give your baby formula often to maintain hydration of body.
Give soft easy to digest diet.
maintain proper hygein.
