Q.

hello doctor, i want to know how much n how many times in a day i should start giving food to my baby..(my baby wil step into her 6th month on 6th Aug) n wat to use to bring solid food to liquid consistency.. as she is on bf.. n i wont produce enough bm to use it in mixing foods..

A. hi dear Breast milk or formula is the only food your newborn needs. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends exclusive breast-feeding for the first six months after birth. But by ages 4 months to 6 months, most babies are ready to begin eating solid foods as a complement to breast-feeding or formula-feeding.
