hello doctor! I've 2 months old daughter, why my daughter always cry loudly when i try to feed her by my right breast, but can easily feed by my left breast?

A. Some babies will only nurse on one breast and completely refuse the other one. It's called a breast preference. In most cases, a baby can get enough breast milk from just one breast, so it isn't necessarily an issue. However, sometimes refusing to breastfeed on one side could be a sign of a problem with the breast, so talk to your lactation consultant if needed. If there isn't an underlying health problem, and your baby is growing well, accept that ur baby prefers one side.
