Q.

hello doctor , I m mom of 1 month boy baby. my babys belly button looks swelling. I have attached a photo of my baby.. is this normal or I should consult my pediatrician

A. the child is having umbilical hernia which is very common in children and goes away by maximum 2 years of age. with growing age it regresses and goes inside it does not require any intervention or treatment before 2 years if it is non complicated. meet your doctor once who will tell you whether any intervention or wait and watch policy is required no need to worry many times it will go away with increasing age of the child
