Q.

hello doctor..... i hv given my baby PCV1 injection that is pneumococcal at 2& 1/2 month and the next dose is in the 3& 1/2 month PCV2...bt doctor is asking me to come on 2& 1/2 month to put extra injection...what to do?? is it necessary??? on immunizations it is only 2 doses...

A. you have to take three doses of pneumococcal vaccine for babies below the age of 1 year we have proper immunity and a booster around 16 to 18 months so baby has to receive four vaccines collectively
