hello doctor I have a nine month old baby.. she has five teeth now recently she has started to bite while feeding, due to which I have been scared to feed her when she is awake.. I want to know how to make her stop biting me as I want to continue feeding her for at least two years

A. Hello good morning !! Yes babies sometimes bite nipple,this is due to teething they get itching, gum pain so they try to bite nipples,toys,put fingers into mouth. Use soothers or teethers to ease from gum pain . While feeding if baby bites withdraw nipple normally without yelling or screaming because screaming, yelling at them make them interesting and repeat biting to see our reaction. So withdraw nipple and say no whenever baby bites, using nipple shield is one of the best option if baby biting frequently.
