Q.

Hello Doctor, I had a cervical stitch in place from 13th week due to short cervix and I am at 37th week now. Today my stitch was removed. My Doctor says that the uterus is open now, so will induce pain and try for normal delivery tomorrow. Is it ok to induce pain? or can I wait until I get labour pain?

A. Hello dear Well if there are no high risk factors complicating pregnancy then you can wait and the labour pains can start spontaneously also. So you have to be prepared for that as you have to reach the hospital in time. Discuss with your doctor
