Q.

Hello doctor, I delivered a baby on April 17th 2023 through C sec (Family planning operation is also done) ,had heavy bleeding for 2days and spotting for 3 weeks followed by period like bleeding for 4days and bleeding had stopped but now again this month I have got bleeding which seems like period.so it is normal or I need to consult doctor? for my 1st kid I got my periods after 3months of delivery. will my period affect breastmilk production.

A. Periods after delivery may occur anytime in between one year and may remain irregular for a few months no medication is needed for that you just need to maintain good nutrition along with adequate water intake and use proper contraceptive method to avoid unwanted pregnancy
